Do You Think Anyone Hears?

about

I woke up this morning hearing about the 800 year conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter... it made me think that, "that's a long time since they've been at kissing distance..." then, I kind of just mused a bit about time and impermanence... today's track art is a picture from my third birthday... hi quality Kodak picture featuring my brother, Eric... the Marzen brothers Al and Chuck... and Matt Dubin... my brother lives in Baltimore and I saw the Marzens not too long ago... I don't know whatever happened to Matt Dubin. My mother took the picture.

lyrics

we said nothing
about getting old
why won't time
go slow

someone once
was the first to go
still asleep
in the ice and snow

help me
leave this place
new lines
same old face

I'll stop at nothing
to get out
when Faith
gives way to Doubt

do you think anyone hears?
do you think anyone hears?

hallelujah
we're getting old
new skin
same old soul

deep inside
of you
so much work
left to do

do you think anyone hears?
do you think anyone hears?
